GazelleNet is a software program for senior citizens and visually challenged individuals. The program allows users to surf and use the internet simply and easily.
GazelleNet was written in 2009 as a small program called Senior Web Helper. The inspiration came from an elderly client of mine. I first met Bob M. when I was referred to him for some computer problems. After working with Bob I realized how much he wanted to be online and I also discovered how much he struggled at times. So I started a short list.
The list turned into a small program that I delivered to Bob. I would install it and let Bob use it, while I watched his reactions and listened to his comments. From all of this the small program turned into a real slick system.
